Advances in Modular Office Furniture Systems

Wednesday 30 April 2008 @ 10:04 pm

by Christopher Cartre
Today, modular open office panel systems are offered by a variety of manufacturers. Office managers and planners are confronted with a bewildering array of designs and price options. Purchasing decisions have grown more complex with the need to accommodate the massive increase in intelligence being accessed by employees. The term “computer-intensive workspace” describes a totally different environment than that of 30 years ago when a telephone, electric typewriter or shared word processing systems comprised office technology.

Managing technology in the workspace has become a science of its own. For example, there are standards that govern the design and placement of voice, data and video cabling upon which employees depend for high-speed Internet access, for file sharing on their firms Local Area Networks (LANs) and to communicate with other company locations, customers and suppliers via intranets and extranets.

These concerns have become more critical with the introduction of the “fluid workspace.” Today’s office floorplans are far from static. Work areas expand, contract and reconfigure to meet the ever-changing needs of a business. Modular office furniture and wall systems — and their cabling infrastructure — must accommodate these Moves, Adds and Changes (MACs) quickly, inexpensively and reliably.

Systems must be designed to conform to proposed OSHA standards related to health problems associated with intensive computer use, and to address work-related disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome and repetitive strain injuries. These conditions affect millions of workers and cost companies billions of dollars in lost productivity and disability payments.
For the most part, the office furniture industry has largely been unresponsive to these dramatic changes in the workplace. Many manufacturers are constrained by obsolete product designs, marketing and distribution methods dating back to the 1970s and 1980s.

This paper will take a close look at modular furniture systems and provide guidelines to help office and information technology managers make educated purchasing decisions. It will examine first costs and lifetime costs of a system, cable management, ergonomics, construction details, lighting, accessories, privacy, and other concerns impacting the purchasing decision. While the paper will broadly focus on cable management in office systems, a companion paper, “An Introduction to High Performance Cabling Systems,” provides a more thorough treatment of that topic in today’s technology-packed offices.

A Look at Some Trends
Today, many businesses are spending more on high technology office equipment than on industrial machinery. An office without a computer is more the exception than the rule. Moreover, employees frequently have intelligent peripherals such as modems, printers and fax capability in their own workspace, or if not, have access to shared facilities.

Meanwhile, organizations where personnel spend a bulk of their time out of the office are turning to alternative solutions such as “hoteling” to achieve two objectives. One is to lower real estate cost; the other is to reduce the number of workstations below the number of employees, who reserve space in advance when they’re in the facility. While these actions result in efficient space utilization, they call for greater flexibility in furniture and equipment to accommodate the changing needs of the staff in an ad-hoc environment. Companies are also reducing the average amount of floorspace per employee to approximately 200 square feet today from 250 in the middle of the 1990s, according to the Building Owner and Manager Association.

Added to this is an increase in what is called the corporate churn rate. The International Facilities Management Association reported that the average corporate relocation rate is now 44%, meaning that in any given year, 44 out of each hundred employees move within the facility.

Other trends relate to softer factors that nevertheless can play a major role in the ultimate success of an organization. Highly skilled workers will always be in demand, and because of that, have an influence on the way offices look. Monolithic cubicles of “Dilbert” fame can act as a deterrent to attracting qualified personnel. Instead, forward-looking firms are installing office systems that allow workers to put their own signature on their workplace in terms of varying panel heights, the use glass panels, marker boards, shelving and other accouterments. This new “residential” approach to office design helps attract employees and make them feel more at home on the job, instead of a numbered peg in a monolithic hole.

Incorporating Technology, Versatility and Design in Movable Wall Office Systems

Wednesday 30 April 2008 @ 10:04 pm

by Christopher Cartre
Office planning for today’s multitasked workplace environment requires a carefully planned and tailored blend of workspace layouts and floorplans to accommodate personnel employing a wide range of skill sets. Today’s new approach to office planning is a direct result of experience gained over the past decade. Throughout this period it has been dramatically demonstrated that one size does not fit all when it comes to fostering workplace productivity and employee morale.

While the experience has been rich, it has come at high cost for many firms who for reasons of economy or attempts at building a “family” feeling through teamwork, believed that open-plan offices would boost productivity and lower costs. Perhaps one of the most extreme examples of this was the “virtual office” created by an advertising agency. Employees had nothing of their own — instead they queued up daily to be issued a phone and computer, then sought out a place to camp for the day. The experiment was not a success.

More common is the open office plan built on modular panel systems and furniture. The systems approach has achieved a high level of development in terms of sophistication, aesthetics and functionality. The most technologically advanced of these systems easily accommodate the tremendous amount of intelligence accessed within and from the workplace. Open-office solutions provide high value when teamwork and interaction are essential to the tasks being performed. They can be reconfigured quickly and inexpensively to facilitate the Moves, Adds and Changes (MACs) characteristic of most open office workplace environments.

Evolution in the Workplace
The popularity of open office designs notwithstanding, clearly there are instances where they do not add value. For example, Michael Brill of BOSTI Associates says there is an idea that openness feeds interaction, but where that happens is in the hallways and coffee bar — exactly where it should happen.

There is no doubt that open office designs prove their worth in workspaces that require teamwork and collaboration — such as in a call center. But studies by BOSTI show privacy can improve productivity by up to 250% for task-intensive knowledge workers. Because of this and other reasons, leading edge companies are blending open plans with private offices. This trend is expected to accelerate as menial office tasks are automated. Moreover, companies are increasingly aware that skilled knowledge workers are not in unlimited supply. Companies viewing skilled personnel as a valued resource provide the facilities that attract the right people, then support their contribution to the success of the organization.

Movable wall systems are a key element to knowledge worker satisfaction and productivity. They solve the privacy issues necessary for thinking but without imparting a feeling of isolation. They enable employees to add their own touches to the workplace and create a home away from home. Structural elements liberally enhanced with colors, textures, coordinated worksurfaces, cabinetry, shelving and technology support typify the new worker-friendly approach to movable full-wall office systems.

This paper will examine movable floor-to-ceiling wall systems based on a modular design, and provide guidelines to help office managers and planners make educated purchasing decisions. It will discuss first costs and lifetime costs, cable management, construction details, privacy and other concerns impacting the purchasing decision.

The Evolution of the Wall
Until very recently, office privacy was synonymous with inflexibility. Private offices were largely constructed of plasterboard or sheet rock over metal studding and firmly attached to floor and ceiling structural members. Construction and subsequent remodeling created dust, paint fumes, aggravations, lost productivity, missed opportunities and work disruptions as employees moved to a temporary location. New construction or rebuilds frequently are costly and difficult to manage because they can involve as many as 6 or 7 trades ranging from common labor through painting, plastering, electrical and communications workers. Moreover, as landfills close, disposal costs are increasing for old plasterboard and studding.

Affiliate Marketing: The Biggest Reason So Many Fail

Wednesday 30 April 2008 @ 4:04 pm

by Thom McIntosh
We all hear the success stories about the big money, some so-called super affiliates make. There is no doubt some affiliates make big money. But why do so many fail or make little money? To be successful you must treat affiliate marketing as a serious business. The biggest reason, I think affiliates fail, is they try to promote their affiliate business on the cheap.

To be successful there are some tools that are a must. You must have your own domain. You must have a reliable follow up auto responder. You must build a list of subscribers. You must always be on the lookout for new tools that give you an edge. These are the basics.

Every day I hear about new tools super affiliate marketers are using. Most of us have not heard of some of these. I am going to expose some of these better ones a little later. First, I want to talk about some of the things you must do and things you must not do. You must never send your leads directly to the sales page you are promoting. Send them to a presale page on your domain. You should have either audio or video on that page. You must try to capture their email address and add them to your list. You must look for creative ways to advertise. You must find ways to drive traffic to your site. These are all things most of us know, but a lot of us try to shortcut. Don’t! By using discipline and running your affiliate business as a Serious business, the rewards can be huge.

Here are some tools Super affiliates are using: There is a software where you can easily use a video from a sales page you are promoting, put it on your presale page and have it redirect, using your affiliate link to the sales page. It also cloaks “hides” your affiliate link. It is a must that you cloak your affiliate link in some manner. Never send your lead to a long affiliate link.

Here is one of the best new tools that I have come across. It solves many problems and puts you in control of the site you are promoting. One of the big problems of affiliate marketing is you have no control in the follow up after you send your lead to the sales page. If you fail to capture their email address on your presale page it is up to the owner of the page to follow up. We know most people don’t buy the first time they visit a page. They say 7 times is average.

If the onwer does not have an opt-in popup or a signup form then no follow up will be done, and you probably will not make a commission. Until now, there was nothing you could do about it. There is a new software that solves that problem and builds your list at the same time. This software builds a slide-in pop-up with your opt-in form and puts it on sites you don’t own. This mean, you can put your pop-up on all sites you are an affiliate on with your affiliate link cloaked and embedded `, allowing you as the affiliate to build your list and do the follow up.

If the owner has a pop-up ,yours will go right over it. This is done without hacking into the site. This has changed my affiliate business. There are many more cutting edge tools you should be on the look out for. Tools like these are the difference between being a Strugging Affiliate and a Super Affiliate. Once you get a reputation as a Heavy Hitter affiliate, owners will come looking for you with special offers. Big money will start rolling in.

One of the big things you need to work on is list building. I have a 3 book set on list-building. If you stop by, I will give you free the first volume. If you like it, I will give you free the other two. Thanks for staying with me this far and good luck on your marketing projects.

How To Triple Your Affiliate Numbers Using One Simple Technique

Wednesday 30 April 2008 @ 3:04 pm

by Jo Mark
Only 20 percent of all affiliate marketers make significant amounts of money. There are a number of reasons for this, but there is a method that you can use that will assure you of making money with affiliate programs. That method involves building a list.

Many affiliate merchants provide a short teaser report that is related to their product. In most cases, these reports are brandable and are given away for free to affiliates who request them. Most affiliates have no idea that these free reports are available. Before signing up for an affiliate product, see if they have free teaser reports that you can give away. This is very important to your successful affiliate marketing efforts.

Using your normal advertising methods, pitch the free report instead of the affiliate program itself. In all of your marketing efforts, promote a link to a re-direct page. Do not send interested parties directly to the affiliate’s sales page. On your re-direct page, place a sign in box to capture names and email addresses. As an incentive to sign up, offer the affiliate’s free report that you have rebranded with your information.

After the prospect has signed in, have your autoresponder send them to the affiliate’s sales page. This benefits you in three ways:

You have added another subscriber to your list. And remember, each subscriber is worth about one dollar per month. So even if they don’t buy the affiliate product that you are promoting, you will still make about $12.00 from that individual over the next year.

Second, The visitor has the free ebook that is branded with your information. If the prospect reads the ebook next month and decides to buy at that time, you will still make your money if they use your branded links.

And last, you will make money in the normal way if the prospect buys on his visit to the merchant’s sales page.

So, as you can see, you have tripled your chances of making a sale by using this simple re-direct technique. Do you want to learn other money making techniques? Get my FREE ebook and start making money online!

Earn money for your college education online

Wednesday 30 April 2008 @ 2:04 pm

by Seth Rogan
College life can be lots of fun, and an amazing experience for both learning and socialising. Something that can really put a damper on your otherwise great college experience is the stress and depression that comes from worrying about money.

The sad fact of life is, even at college students still need to make enough money to live, and this means making enough money for rent, food, gas and all the other living expenses that pop up. Often this means having to work low paying menial jobs, which can take time away from both study and play.

Thankfully , there are many online methods that students can use to make a bit of extra cash. These can be useful to make a bit of scratch here and there, so you won’t have to work quite as much, or can even be combined and made into your primary income.

Surveys:
Good Survey sites these days offer decent amounts to complete surveys and offers, as well as referral programs that allow the user to sign up friends and earn a percentage on offers they complete. Great for a few quick bucks, or even more if you can manage to promote them well, by getting friends and family to sign up or by advertising on your blog or myspace.

Blogging:
While it can take some time to start earning decent money, blogging can be a decent money spinner for any student. Writing a blog is both fun and rewarding, and if you can write well enough to reach people by being funny, knowledgeable or expressing convincing (or even controversial) opinions, you can make very decent money by adding advertising to your blog (such as with adsense or adbrite) or by taking part in pay-per-blog schemes (where advertisers will pay you to write posts about products or topics they are trying to promote.)

Internet Marketing:
Internet Marketing and promoting affiliate programs is by far the best way for students to make money online. By utilising promotion techniques all students are familiar with (such as writing articles, blogging, social networking and social bookmarking) students can promote any of the thousands of affiliate programs and earn a percentage of any sales made. The huge range of products to promote means students can promote products that take their interest, and by doing Internet Marketing, students are setting up proper income streams that will keep paying for months or years afterwards. Many students using Internet Marketing as their primary source of income, and many people, students or otherwise, use Internet Marketing as lucritive personal business.

Stop working in crummy jobs for nickels and dimes just to put yourself through college! Learn how college students can make money online and create real income in their spare time. Improve Your Sales Performance by Analyzing Website Data

Wednesday 30 April 2008 @ 11:04 am

by Egidijus Andreika
Establishing an internet business is not only about sales strategies and marketing gimmicks. You will be surprised to learn that it is also important that you gather and analyze data in order to guarantee success. Of course, you will have to find out which data is useful or not in improving sales. Here are some helpful tips.

Number of Visitors
It is very important for an internet business to pay attention to the number of consumers who are visiting the website. Without any traffic, there will be no sales. If you notice that the number of visitors is declining, maybe it is time to employ some promotional activities such as article submission. For internet businesses who really want to drive traffic to their website, a good idea is to get an affiliate marketing program.

Page Views
You will be able to improve your product and services if you consider the number of people checking out the different pages in your website. Based on this, you will be able to tell which among your products or services is generating much interest. As for products with very few views, it would be best if you try to make some changes in order to make them more interesting and consumer-friendly. Again, page views can be improved if you market your business aggressively. Consumers will want to check out your entire website especially if numerous affiliate marketers are promoting it.

Conversions
One of the most important data to track is conversions. This basically means the number of successful sales transaction in relation to the number of visitors your website has attracted. You must make sure that consumers will not leave your website empty-handed. Converting a visit into a sale is tricky and you must make sure that your product or services are of good quality and you are employing a good marketing tactic. Conversion rate can easily be affected by your website’s layout, product’s description, the easiness to navigate through your website, quality of your product and many other factors. When you know the conversion rate, you can easily start tweaking your website — changing the layout, colors, even the product layout or checkout pages. Make a small tweak and then measure the conversion rate. If it goes up — this means that the change is positive and results in more sales. If a tweak is not good you will also notice that. By analyzing such data you will be able to easily play with your website to increase the product conversions.

As mentioned repeatedly, affiliate marketing will be your best bet to improve your daily statistics. The next logical step is finding an affiliate marketing network provider who can provide you with everything that you need and want such as Click2Sell.EU. They have been in the business for quite some time now and has earned a reputation for being reliable and effective.
Click2Sell can offer you an affiliate marketing program that will be yours to control. You will be the one who will decide which affiliate will market your services of products. You can start selling your products online and run your affiliate program. You can easily measure your product’s conversion rates and then tweak your website to improve your sales even more. Aside from this, you can also set up your own commission scheme in order to reward your affiliates as you please. You can track your sales performance, affiliate performance and financial history very easily. This will certainly make managing your internet business easier. Gathering and analyzing data is perhaps one of the most important activities that you must do in order to complement your sales and marketing strategies. The best thing about doing this is you know it will never be a waste of time since you will be basing your future business decisions on these stats.

Before you launch your very own internet business, it would be natural for you to have a business plan. Of course, included in this business plan is a model that will be the method you will be using as you go about your business. With your team of affiliates generating traffic to your site, you will no longer need to worry about promoting your products and services. Since you will be accepting recurring payments in the form of subscription fees, it is important that you have PayPal, WorldPay or Authorize.net accounts to collect your payments. The Affiliate Marketer Website - An Essential Key to Success

Wednesday 30 April 2008 @ 5:04 am

by scott riefler
Most of today’s emerging entrepreneurs prefer to conduct their business online. Thanks to the internet, entrepreneurs can now reach different countries all over the world just to advertise and sell their products or services. If you want to become a successful internet entrepreneur, you must focus on your entrepreneur website. And why is that?
The foundation of an internet business is the website. Your success is dependent on the perception, feel, and look of your site. It is therefore very important to maximize your site’s effectiveness so that more subscribers are attracted to it and in turn boost your sales.

You must be able to have a squeeze page on your website. How will you do it? First and foremost, you must have a hosting account and domain. The domain should be in the hosting account. You can build your website by going to Microsoft FrontPage. This is a very easy thing to do so you will not encounter many problems. The form found in the squeeze page should match with the Aweber Auto responder form. This way, personal information on the squeeze page can be captured correctly.

To catch the attention of internet users, your site must have a captivating headline. You can entice subscribers by giving them free bonus reports, newsletter, or even eBooks.

Some entrepreneurs put their photos on their site’s squeeze page. If you want to do the same, you must be extra careful as photos take up great file sizes. Your photo file should be reduced to a smaller size first so that it will not affect the boot up of the squeeze page. Waiting too long for a page to boot up will definitely discourage visitors.

Putting your photo is not a very good idea because some visitors are distracted by it and so they might miss some important information on the site. Sticking to text only on your squeeze page is the best way to load faster and provide all the information needed by the visitor.

If you can do these things to your website, you will not have many problems and not only that, more people will want to subscribe. Many entrepreneurs have started from scratch. Some of then even had to experience botched partnerships, failed businesses, bankruptcy, and heavy debts but despite the misfortunes, many entrepreneurs were able to survive. Now, they are earning thousands of profits every year.

Becoming a millionaire as an internet entrepreneur is not that hard. In fact, putting a physical business is harder than establishing an online business. However, both require hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

If you have the qualities and skills of an entrepreneur, you must try to establish your place on the web right now. Know your online business opportunities and start by creating an effective website.

As mentioned earlier, the entrepreneur website is one of the important keys to success. There is extreme competition among entrepreneurs online so you must be ready for it. Try to identify a market need that you have to meet and then answer that need by putting up an online business.

There are many resources that you can find online to help you out as you start your online business. You have to do some research so that your efforts will be rewarded when the right time comes. Being an entrepreneur is the best way to reach your dreams the soonest.

Are Free Domain Names Worth Trying?

Wednesday 30 April 2008 @ 4:04 am

by Rizky Nur Zamzamy
If you have involved in Internet Marketing and Network Marketing long, I bet you’ll know how important it is to have your own websites with your own domain names.

The following is the discussion between an Anonymous Internet Marketer who suggests to use Free Domain Names and I, a Publisher/Editor of Arigola e-Millionaire Newsletter who prefers using a low cost Paid Domain Names.

Anonymous Internet Marketer: Without a domain name, a person does not have a suitable way to find a website. The only problem is domain names cost money. Granted, if a person is operating one or two sites, the cost of a domain name, (which ranges from $1.00 to $35), probably isn’t too steep.

Me: You got a point there. Go on.

Anonymous Internet Marketer: However, what if one is an avid marketer, making profit from hundreds of sites? Even the minimum in domain name fees can add up. This is why Internet marketing gurus might want to consider signing up for free domain names.

Me: If an avid marketer is already making profits from hundreds of sites, he certainly can afford to buy one domain names that cost only around $8 a year! And if this guy is really an internet marketing guru, I’m sure he will agree with me!

Anonymous Internet Marketer: Three types of free domain name exist: third level domain names, first level domain names with lesser used extensions and first level domain names with traditional extensions.

The first type of free domain name is known as a third level domain name. This is a domain name that is commonly distributed by free web hosting companies or affiliate programs. Yet, there is a downside to this type of domain name. This downside involves the first level domain name, (usually the company’s name), having to be a part of the third level domain name. For example, consider a website created with Geocities.

If a webmaster chooses ‘web hosting’ as their third level domain name, the following would be the syntax: Geocities.com/webhosting.

Such a domain name is not very convenient for potential visitors, so webmasters may want to consider redirecting these types of URLs to other versions of free domain names.

Me: Yes, I agree with you on this. That’s why no Internet Marketing Gurus I know choose this option!

Anonymous Internet Marketer: The second type of free domain name is a first level domain name that contains an extension that is not as popular in the Internet world. Examples are the types of free domain names offered by Dot.tk or Free Domain.co. The extensions offered from these companies are .tk and .co.nr, respectively. These are far from a .com or a .net, but they are not as cumbersome to use as a third level domain name. The main key is going to be making sure the initial domain name is short and easy to remember, so potential visitors won’t be as offset by the unusual extension.

Me: I don’t agree with you again here. The .tk, .co.nr, and other extensions like that don’t have enough credibility. Therefore, if a person is an avid Internet Marketer or an Internet Marketing Guru, I guess, he would stay away from such domain names.

Anonymous Internet Marketer: Finally, there are free domain names with extensions that are more commonly used such as .com or .org. To find these a person has to do some sleuthing. Sometimes individuals will offer them for free, since they were about to expire anyway. A person can try to find these situations through message boards dedicated to webmasters. Other times companies will offer these types of free domain names because they are getting free ad space. What happens is every time the free domain name is used, a pop-up ad will show up on the person’s website. This is how the free domain name company gets their revenue.

Me: That’s right! That’s why they are annoying. That’s why the people who use this kind of domain names will not be considered serious in online business!

If you are a newbie and just want to give Internet Marketing a try, there will be no problems using them. But when you decided to make it big, the best choice is to buy bonafide domain names, even if the extension is not .com or .net.

So, get back to the question which becomes the title of this article: Are Free Domain Names Worth Trying? Yes, they are. But only for that: Trying.

If you seriously want to make money through Domain Names business, go to: http://aemn.arigola.com/domainbusiness.html for a complete Domain Name Business Package that includes unlimited Domains, Web Hosting and Website Building. MAiSPACE has become synonymous with value in systems furniture.

Wednesday 30 April 2008 @ 3:04 am

by Christopher Cartre
For smart buyers and facility planners, MAiSPACE has become synonymous with value in systems furniture. . Why MAiSPACE? Because they offer high quality and award winning features at up to 40% less than the major manufacturers. Nowhere else can you get exceptional design and technology features, and low cost. Maispace believes no contract furniture manufacturer can match their quality at their price points. It’s that simple. This innovative product was designed with the industry acronym of “Modular Architectural Interiors” (MAI) as its motivation. If you’re going to change - and you are- a modular product should do it easily and yet be architecturally sound. This gives you flexibility and strength. It reduces costly installation and reconfiguration time. And you don’t need to buy lots of new parts (and inventory the old ones) every time you make modifications.

Maispace system revolutionized the contract furniture industry by incorporating standards compliant plug-and-play cable management systems in its superior quality stackable panel system. Patented, knocked down and ready-to-assemble frames equipped with self-aligning connectors simplify moving elements into and throughout the building reducing installation costs. It can also reduce the number of framing components required. Frames provide unobstructed cable pathways top to bottom. Cable runs are laid in behind lift-off panel segments, not bundled and fished through structural elements. Off-modular design allows flexibility in workspace size, configuration and in locating bins, shelves, and divider panels. Maispace won a “Best of NEOCON” award in 2002 , the industry’s highest honor.

Established in 1993, MAiSPACE has approximately 250 employees worldwide, and a North American installed base of more than $150 million. As a research driven company they are constantly evaluating and updating product options to enhance their capabilities and keep step with advancing technological, ergonomic and architectural innovations. Framing is constructed of 16-gauge cold-rolled steel to provide strength and rigidity when in use and remain distortion-free during moves, adds and changes (MACs). Panel segments are 24-gauge steel for exceptional durability. This also allows us to provide a .80 NRC and a 35 STC, the highest in the industry. Framing is designed to provide unobstructed cable pathways top to bottom. Knockdown and ready-to assemble (RTA) framing components equipped with self-leveling connections simplify moving elements into and throughout the building, reduce assembly costs and can reduce the number of framing components required. For example, only two horizontal sub-assemblies plus two shared vertical uprights are required to support panel frames up to 8-feet wide. Frames can easily be added to or removed from runs without disturbing adjacent structures

A MAiSPACE panel configuration composed of 8-foot panel frames stacked 10 feet high and supported by 2 24” return panels was rated to 2.5 tons in a test conducted by Underwriters Laboratories, the highest load rating in the industry. Counterbalancing is not required with this system. MAiSPACE stackable (and destackable) , load-bearing panel frames can be used to build walls from 30 inches to 14 feet in height. Panel height can be increased without removing existing panel frames or disturbing power, voice and data cabling, proving savings in terms of both product and labor costs.

Easily removable panel segments options include laminate, Coverseal, veneer, painted, embossed steel, brushed stainless steel, airflow, clear glass, frosted glass, or textured glass, fabric, tackable/acoustical, power/data, marker board and paper management. Segments were also designed to facilitate access to the MAiSPACE lay-in cable management system and are available to 6 feet in length. Power systems do not share channel space with voice and data systems

Maispace system revolutionized the contract furniture industry by developing and patenting an integrated standards compliant plug-and-play cable management system in our stackable panel system. Our patented zone distribution system includes plug-and-play connectors, lay-in cabling and the largest capacity in the industry. With a 4 Circuit, 8 Wire system, it not only supports any network or power requirements you have today, but is designed to grow and change as you do with remarkable ease. Managing voice, data, and power cabling is a snap with MAiSPACE because cable runs are laid in behind lift-off panel segments, not bundled and fished through structural elements. Reconfigure an office floor plan in hours instead of days without disrupting the entire local area network. Savings go long-term because moves, adds, and changes can be mastered by in-house personnel after a minimum of training. Plug-and-play horizontal voice and data cabling facilitates MACs without disrupting the entire LAN and conforms to applicable industry standards in open office designs.

MAiSPACE conforms to telecommunications industry standards for horizontal cabling systems in open offices. Standard belt line access and easily accessible consolidation points provide an interconnection between work area outlets and telecommunications closets to create a zone distribution system. Unrestricted cable pathway access simplifies adding capacity or rerouting networks. Factory-terminated and tested modular cable assembles in copper or fiber support plug and play office reconfigurations. Category 7 cabling surpassing all proposed industry standards is available for data-intensive or video applications.

Focusing on small and mid size companies, Maispace saw a need to develop a sister product called MORSPACE. With interchangeable tiles, stacking frames, built in cable pathways and multiple filing and storage options, MORSPACE offers all the features of premium modular office systems, including off-modular capabilities, but at a price that falls within even the tightest of budgets.
